OUR STORY

The 14/Four Group was founded on a simple idea: small business owners shouldn’t have to carry the operational weight alone. We saw entrepreneurs feeling overwhelmed by payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, and Human Resources. The essential functions that quickly become exhausting when you’re trying to grow a business.
 

Our name is inspired by Proverbs 14:4: “Increase comes by the strength of an ox.”

Historically, oxen were trusted for their strength, steadiness, and ability to carry heavy loads. They helped build and sustain communities by providing the support needed for people, families, and businesses to grow and thrive. We chose this symbol because it reflects the way we serve our clients: as a dependable partner who helps shoulder the essential work of running a business, so our clients can focus on growth, service, and the people who depend on them.
